Kathy Lally-Beares, former Deputy Executive Director for Data Quality Campaign, is the Vice President for Growth and Impact at Communities in Schools. There she acts as a thought partner to the executive director on all strategic matters, including current and future direction and management. She builds and nurtures relationships with stakeholders, including policymakers, data managers, funders, and partners.
Prior to joining DQC in 2011, Kathy held a number of roles leading children and family programming, including the District of Columbia Public Schools’ Office of Out-of-School Time, the Montgomery County Collaboration Council for Children, Youth, and Families, the United Way of Central New York, and the National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions.
Kathy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Connecticut and holds a Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
