Richard Dana is an artist and arts administrator based in Washington, DC. He has exhibited his art throughout the United States as well as internationally in more than 18 solo exhibitions and more than 70 group exhibitions. He was the founder and Executive Director of the Washington Area Arts Consortium, whose membership included over 20 regional cultural organizations.
He was also a co-founder and member of the Executive Committee of Art-O-Matic and co-founder and co-director of The Art of Work, The Work of Art Project and the Take Me To The River Project. He has served on the board of directors of Pyramid Atlantic, the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County (MD), and the Central Asian Cultural Exchange, and was President of the Board of Directors of the Arlington Arts Center.
